The movie is based off of actual events of Niki Reed (who plays the bad girl in the movie) when she was thirteen. She was the co-writer of the film. Basically its about Sex, Drugs and the struggles in life of being a thriteen year old girl.

The Movie Thirteen Is about thirteen year old girls who get into drugs, sex, tattoos, piercings, and smoking and alchol. In the movie the 13 year old girls relationship with her mother gets put to the test when she meets a new friend who introduces her to "new harmful" things.
Its an extremely good movie ,but sometimes confusing.

its about a 13 y.o. girl whos kinda of geeky and wants to break out of the normal and get wild, cuz her family is kind of dysfunctional. she starts doing wild crazy things because for her its like release therapy.

a teenage girl becomes skanky when she hangs out with another skank,they get in trouble,the parents blame the other kid,and i forget how it ends,my wife had that movie i only saw it once
