As far as overrated books, I don't really have any. I don't think that the Harry Potter or Dan Brown books are really as great as all the hype suggests, but I still enjoy reading them. I try to not only read books because they're on a best seller list or something. I hear a title that might sound interesting and look at a summary/description to see if I'd like it.

I don't have much to contribute to the list of overrated books, but I have to at least add On the Road by Kerouac. It was recommended to me by more than one person, and I barely got through it from the boredom. I guess I wasn't born in the right era to appreciate it, since it apparently was pretty revolutionary in its day.
