Yes, I think so, although the connection is beyond our ability to really understand. That connection manifests in things like trends, current fashion, belief systems. It is called the collective unconscious. In my opinion, it is a source of untapped wealth, although advertising agencies, for example, try to exploit that connection. I think McCartney/Lennon said it best in their song "I am the Walrus" -- "I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together."
