I love scary movies, but I have yet to find one that actually scares me. Anyone know of any REALLY scary ones? I'm open to try anything if I'm told it's really scary and/or if the synopsis sounds scary.

Scary vs. gory, shocking, disturbing? "The Exorcist" is classic scary. "The Changeling" is a scary ghost movie. "Last House on the Left" is this could really happen to me scary--average sicko humans are the monsters. Check out some real underground stuff for shocking scary like "August Underground." And just for the record: "THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE" IS NOT A TRUE STORY! No such incident ever occured in Texas. Tobe Hooper borrowed the human mask, bone furniture, skull bedposts, and other things around the house from a real sicko named Ed Gein of Plainsfield, Wisconsin, who was a grave robber that furnished his house with body parts--he actually killed one person with a hunting rifle, not a chainsaw, and he was captured and convicted for it.

I liked scary movies because they never really scared me.
Cabin fever is about a group of teenagers who go to a cabin and one of them accidentally shoots someone.
That bothered me so I had to turn it off.
The re-release of the original exorcist has some things like faces in the shadows that you probably missed the first time.
It is fun to watch on a DVD player with surround sound so you can back up and watch frame by frame if you thought you saw something.

"The shining" starring Jack Nicholoson. Jack and his family occupy an empty hotel during off season to maintain it. I do not recall accurately, but it is either that the hotel is occupied by evil spirits which influence Jack to kill his family or Jack goes mental and hallucinates to an extent where he kills his family. I believe it was filmed sometime in the early 80's.
This is a very freaky/scary movie.

it truthfully relies upon on what you concider frightening. I 2 love frightening video clips and function a tough time looking movies that acttually scare me. One seggestion I truthfully have for you is to party with your friends (video clips are constantly frightening while wathcing with a collection of friends at evening, dont noe why yet authentic) so get ur firends circulate to ur interior sight action picture condominium save and p.c.. random video clips from the horror area. I cant garantee which you would be scared. even though it is going to likely be exciting, me and my pal found snigger are heads off. yet you desire to be scared so i could propose finding out (I havent seen a number of those yet they have scared the crap out of the folk i asked) ineffective Silence (i didnt get a raffle to work out this yet i heard it replaced into extremely frightening) The Exerocist the hoop Oldboy Cabin Fever observed (no longer likely frightening yet a competent secret comparable with the observed 2 solid secret) Black Christmas evening of the residing ineffective (the single from the 70's) i understand there are greater yet i cant think of of any greater. solid success!
