depends on if your battery was nic hydride or not. Some battery's get a memory from the point of which there charged. Check this first then ask again. x

My partner and I both have N73 phones, I have an N70 as well. The chargers are identical. My 1st N70 charger stopped working weeks after I got the phone. It snapped inside the phone and the phone had to be taken apart and put back together to make it work again. Phones 4u, where I purchased it from, wanted to charge me for the repair and the charger. 3, the network provider, did the work free of charge.
My 2nd charger stopped working a couple of weeks ago. By this time my partner's N73 charger had developed the same problem that my 1st one had; i.e. the charger pin had started to snap. We took both chargers to an official Nokia shop and we were told that mine could be replaced but my partner's couldn't. They had none in because they had so many people needing faulty chargers replacing, they couldn't keep up with demand. They wouldn't replace my partner's charger because they thought that Nokia wouldn't reimburse the store, because of the nature of the damage.
My partner contacted 3, the network provider and they said my partner should buy a cheap (generic copy) charger and they would take the balance off the next bill. He did this, reluctantly, but the replacement was faulty from the 1st time he used it. Nokia have agreed to repair or replace the original if he posts it to them in an ordinary envelope (how?) or if he buys a jiffy bag and pays the postage.
All he wants is a proper Nokia charger that works. He only bought the phone in December, brand new. We are still fighting with Nokia and 3 to get this issue resolved.
I completely sympathise with how you feel.

Hi. I cannot see how being cut off would affect the charging of your phone. Although it is quite a coincindence. I would suggest purchasing one new charger from ebay. If it works problem solved. Also if you need your phone unlocking go to http://www.unlock-codes.org You can unlock your phone for just $5.00 Good eh. Hope this helps.

its not because you have been cut off! they cant stop a phone from being charged!!!! you either have a faulty connection where the charger plugs into your phone or you forgot to switch the plug socket on!
