Don't worryaboudit. Radio waves can only harm you by heating or electrocuting you. The intensity would have to be thousands of times higher than next to a radio station antenna to do that.

By saying radio waves, that limits the discussion to the particular frequency set aside for radio transmission. The FCC regulates how much power is transmitted, primarily because a tower emitting too strong a signal can interfere with more distant stations. I wouldn't climb a radio tower, but otherwise the signal level is too low to cause any harm. Besides burning, the harm that could come from electromagnetic radiation is mainly cellular mutations, whihc when not able to be repaired by the body can lead to cancer, but the dose of radiation required to make that likely is MUCH larger than what you get in a lifetime from radio signals.

I was brought up with the radio( only we called it wireless!) and I have come across no cases of harmful affects; although I have not experienced radio waves in massive doses. So, it is good that you sound a note of caution on the subject.

Exactly. And what has happened to the world's population in the last 100 years? They can't be that harmful.
