absolutely

woked at a small police department - and on a dull midnight shift on radio -

took the time to count the number of cases and document them each day for three months - then went back and plotted the moon phase over it

the result was like a sine wave = up and down
more cases during a full moon - fewer cases during a new moon

lunar madness - yep - I believe

I'm a firm believer in that the moon makes ppl crazy when it's full. As a 411 operator for 16 + years, I experienced plenty of lunacy from customers during those few days each month. You will never convince me otherwise.

Gurdjieff says that the planets and moon does impact us and that they result distinctive factors of our bodies. The planets result the endocrine equipment and our hormones. The moon additionally has an result on the endocrine equipment. i think of madness is probable somewhat intense inspite of the shown fact that, yet in the time of an entire moon we are extra agitated, there's a heavier power circulating and as a effect people have a shorter temper, are disturbed much less perplexing, extra under pressure and get unfavorable much less perplexing. on the turn area, the hot moon has the choice result, we've much less power, are duller, extra apathetic and care much less approximately issues around us. the two those states are unfavorable. Tthis information from Gurdjieff's attitude is purely to help us comprehend that we are machines with buttons that are pushed and as quickly as we start to grow to communicate this, we can improve our state of know-how.

People believe that a full moon makes you go crazy because it makes you feel alive. It calls out qualities that you wouldn't normally have. Not crazy qualities, it doesn't make you go insane, you're just feeling the energy of the full moon shining down on you because that's when it's strongest.

I really believe it, because I work in retail and when it is a full moon oh boy!!! they just get crazier and crazier all day....

The full moon affects many people everywhere causing emotional instability and insecurity. Ask any hospital worker and they will tell you that more accidents and personal assaults happen during the time of the full moon.

Why this happens is a question worth considering. Its been told me that the gravitational force of the moon is strong enough to cause the ocean to rise (causing high tide) and therefore it is possibly changing the gravitational effect on our glands and organs which can affect our moods. During the night the full moon counteracts the gravitational pull on us from the Earth, and during the day its complete absence overhead would allow the Earth's gravitation to have an unobstructed affect on us.

This gravitational difference between mid-day and midnight is the greatest during the days of the full moon (and new moon when the moon is overhead during midday and absent during the night). It is one explanation for peoples more erratic behaviour during this time (and also during the new moon for some people). Other additional effects include the different wavelengths of light coming from the moon, and the full moons affect on our inner pathogens. The light from the moon, as all can see, is of a different combination of wavelengths and strength of light than what the sun gives us.

It has been known for many years that different colors of light cause different emotional reactions in us; Red = passion, Blue = calmness, Green = clarity of thought, etc. It could be that the moons silvery color is at least partially responsible for some people's emotional instability. Also consider that all of us have inner pathogens (organisms that get their sustenance from inside of other organisms) including yeast, worms, protazoan parasites, virus, and bacteria.

It could be that the day to night gravitational change causes a change in the activity of these pathogens such as possible increased activity which would increase their drain on our nutrient levels and increase the amount of metabolic byproducts they excrete into our blodstream (thereby making us more toxic). Why the full moon affects some people more than others is also a good question. It's probably because either some have borderline glandular functions or because some have more pathogens.

I personally believe that the most likely pathogen that contributes to the full moon effect is yeast (mostly in the intestines) of the species Candida Albicans. I believe this because too much yeast also causes a 'mooney' effect in people by causing them to feel 'overloaded' and 'stressed out' because of the loss of normal digestion and increased level of toxicity in the blood.
