Hair on the upper lip?

I've been trying to figure out what the best way is to get rid of the hair on my upper lip. I have blonde hair so its not that dark, but i still want to get rid of it. I've looked at the other questions and some people say waxings good, some say its bad, some people say to shave it, others are against that, some say to pluck, and im so confused!! I need a cheap, easy, but effective way to get rid of it!! Please help!

Waxing is slightly painful (but only a little bit), very effective, totally socially acceptable, but expensive (to have done regularly). If you want cheap, easy and effective, you can shave or pluck (if there's heaps of hair, plucking might not be quick, though). You could also wax at home- that's probably the best way for you now. Depends on how handy you are. I let the pros do it. But if you CAN wax at home, that's the BEST way.

Whatever you do, please do not shave it. It will make it come in stronger and thicker. You can try electrolysis but if the person doing it doesn't do it correctly you will be throwing your money away and wasting your time. You can wax it. A lot of women have good results with this. But it depends on you and how fast your hair grows. Then there is laser treatments but again that will depend on your hair and how many treatments you will need. So pretty much you have to know yourself and choose the method which is right for you.

waxing is good...but it stings a little...don't do it by yourself unless you can handle pain well. 'nair' is also a good alternative...you should be able to buy 'nair' at any drug-store.
