Why does Jim Mora Sr. get fired while Michael Irvin doesn't?

On his Fox radio show, Jim Mora Sr. (correctly) called Michael Vick a coach killer and was fired. Michael Irvin has screwed up several times while working at ESPN, including having a crack pipe in his car (it was a friend's, yeah right), and saying Tony Romo's success was partly due to having "black blood", yet he still has a job. Why?

First, I'm not saying you don't know what you're talking about, but firing a guy on the radio for giving his opinion when thats his job (giving his opinion) seems far fetched.

Second, Irvin had gotten a bunch of chances. Maybe he does deserve to be fired. He's an idiot for saying that about Romo on the air (but if youve ever played on a team thats racially mixed, that is he type of stuff that gets tossed around all the time. Hell, they call Jason Williams "white chocolate")

The bottom line is, he still has his job and he may still mess up and get fired. Until then, turn him off if you don't like him.

with the aid of fact he's a racist and a homer. he made some blatently racist statements in an interview some months that have been given swept under the rug. plus, if it is not with regard to the dallas cowboys or 'the u', he's not attracted to conversing approximately it. no depend what the different men are conversing approximately, he continually trys to steer the banter in the direction of one among his former communities.
