If so, what kind of footwear is appropriate with them?

I would say so. I would say that the footwear would be ballet flats, or wedges. Maybe even mules. =) alic10hr

Right now if you wear daisy dukes you must wear them with opaque tights and Uggs with a sweater. Wearing them as a summer look is a little old.
