Can I use pseudonyms too?

Sure! Anyone can write a novel! I’ve not done it myself, but I really want to someday. In order to get started just write your novel. If you need help with that, there are lots of books on how to write a novel. I wouldn’t doubt that your Public Library has a couple of them available. One of my favorites is “On Writing” by Steven King. It’s really a memoir with his methods of story writing stirred in. There’s also a neat book that looks like a winner called “No Plot? No Problem!” by Chris Baty. I’d check those out if you need help actually writing your book.
After that, find a publisher to submit your work to. I don’t know of any off hand, you could go to a book store with a pad of paper and look through the top sellers and write down the names of the publishing companies and then look them up on-line. (Scholastic is about the only one I can think of off the top of my head, that’s probably not much help)
I couldn’t tell you about dealing with publishers and editors; I have no experience or knowledge in that field.
As for pseudonyms, I don’t think there’s any rule or even copy write garbage that you have to fish through in order to get and ultimately use a pseudonym. As far as I know, all you need to do is tell the publishers what name you want your work published under. Granted, I doubt they’ll let you use an existing authors name as a pseudonym; that’d be just silly.
That’s all the input I can inflict upon you. I hope it helps. I wish you the best of luck with your writing endeavors.

Get started by getting "black on white." It's a quote but I forgot who said it. It means get writing and take it from there.
