If you were having your carpets cleaned what would influence what company you chose to perform the service the most...... the lowest price, a money- back guarantee, fast drying times, or something else.......?

I own a carpet cleaning business, and allot of our service calls come from repeat business and word of mouth. You do not always want to choose the lowest price, since you do get what you pay for. When you are driving around town, take a look at the carpet cleaning vans, those that are maintained and look good pretty much reflect on the quality of the service that they provide. No one can guarantee on removing all stains. Ask if they include pretreat, and deoderizer in the price that they quoted, this should always be included, some charge extra for this service. Ask if they will come back and touch up a spot that came right back, called wicking, at no charge. Be sure to ask your friends and neighbors who they have had success with

I recently called 5 places in the phone book and interviewed each one about their price, the type of product they used, the quality of the product (including any guarantees they provide), and price-matching. The one I chose was not the cheapest, but obviously knew his product and knew a lot about stains. He even discussed the ph level of the brand new carpet I had cleaned with vinegar in order to remove an oil-based lotion from my carpet. We had a very in-depth conversation and he sold me with his knowledge and family-safe product. Also, while it wasn't the cheapest, it was on the lower end of prices. He also told me their reputation was so good that I could easily ask around the neighborhood and he was sure I would get all positive reactions. After my experience with them, I would defintitely recommend them to others. The cheaper price allowed me to try them, the knowledge sold me, and the quality will guarantee repeat business with me.

Since I live in rental property I would ask them what companies they would recommend. Then call around and ask for prices and see what kind of deals they can offer. Hope this helps you out.

Thourough cleaning...moves furniture (not cleans around), vaccuums water. Leaves no residue to attract more dirt.
