i saw it on a little segment on the style network--it think it was called "30 second look," but it was a long time ago. i saw this little tip and was so thrilled, but having the terrible short-term memory that i do, i forgot exactly how to do it.

all i can remember is that that you cut up the sides of the shirt into strips, then you tie them up. in the end, they kind of look like "frills," if you know what i'm mean. is that how you do it? i'm afraid to find out if that's right because i might end up shredding my shirt. please help.

ok the frills i wouldnt suggest but this is how ya do'em... lay the shirt FLAT on a table... take scissors and snip an inch or inch and a half..on the sides of the shirt(where the stitching is up the sides) cut parallel to the bottem of the shirt. Then cut straight up the sides (along the stitching) and tie the frills together.

but i would go with just cuttin the seems on the sides and resewing them back together to fit you.

goodluck!

Cut the sides of the shirt, and then make lots of slits on each cut side. Next tie the little slits, or pieces, together. The result is a tight shirt with frilled ends.

cut the sides and then sew it back. that should make it smaller but just buy smaller shirts that way you dont have to find ways to do this :)
