How can I get more motivated?

Question

I am a stay at home mom to a 5 month old and we will be moving in the next month. I have no motivation what so ever to start packing. How can I get motivated? I don't want to do everything last minute

OHH DEAR I KNOW THE FEELING. BUT THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO GET MOTIVATED. ARE YOU MOVING TO A NEW HOME? IF SO, THEN THINK THIS IS THE LAST TIME YOU WILL BE PACKING FOR A WHILE. THINK YOU WILL BE MOVING TO A PLACE OF YOUR OWN. A NEW BEGINNING. A FRESH START.

ANOTHER WAY OF GETTING MOTIVATED IS GETTING TOGETHER A FEW OF YOUR CLOSEST FRIENDS, ORDER SOME PIZZA, HAVE COKE COLA OR PEPSI COLA FOR EVERYONE. DO EVERYTHING TOGETHER.

SOMETIMES WHEN YOU START PACKING IS WHEN YOU REALIZE ALL THE THINGS YOU HAD PUT AWAY AND MAYBE MOST OF THAT YOU MIGHT NOT NEED NOW. MAYBE YOU CAN HAVE A GARAGE SALE AND TAKE SOME POCKET MONEY TO GET NEW THINGS.

I WISH I WAS THERE, I WOULD HELP.

Start with one room, play a cd and try to pack as much before the last song finishes.Seriously this is how I get my son to clean up his room. You have plenty of time. I don't understand why you would have to get "motivated". Do one room at at time,maybe twice a week.I use to pack up all the time. I would collect my boxes and pack one room and tape and label the boxes and just set them on the floor. About a week before the move,our place would look like a warehouse,but I never felt as if I "PACKED". It was a very gradual process.Easy on the body and the mind. It will not be if you continue to put the first room off. Then you'll have a lot of packing and not enough time.

If you like to decorate pack your boxes kid of planning how you are going to set up the new place. Very hard to do with a baby nap time is a great time for this.

THink abt ur new home and think that it is the last time u will evr pack in ur life.....
