Why is it that a man would leave his wife for a women who has been married four times and cheated on all them is just a party girl and gold digger? What makes anyone think they are going to get treated differently by this person with such a track record?

He left because he believes in the fantasy that he has created, that all cheaters create when having an affair.

Affairs are not based in the day to day reality that marriage lives in. He has a need to believe he is special, different, that this "love" will be the love to end all loves. He needs to believe he is so special that he won't meet the fate of her other lovers, that he has reformed her and that the relationship will be beautiful. And because this is his need and because he can control the fantasy, he bailed.

Fast forward 5 years. Another wife, another affair and she is here on Yahoo Answers asking the exact same question about the exact same man.

Get on your knees. Thank God for the woman who took this guy off your hands. You may be lonely, you will suffer and you still love him, no doubt, but just remember - it's much better to be healthy and alone than to be sick with someone else.

you know..im in a similar situation.
Why do they want the party girls? Are there any faithful men out there?
I think that your man needs to grow up. Maybe he thinks he can change this person, or maybe he doesn't want a commitment, just some fun. Men are dirtbags, im sorry to say. Im sorry that this has happened to you...and there's really nothing that you can do, but know that you are a good person and you treated him right and you deserve better. Focus on you and getting your life back on track.

First of all it is not her it is him she is just the eazy outlet. He has issues and does not want to be married or commited to someone. My husband is a cheater and I left him, it hurt at first but it is getting better and I do not blame the other woman or myself, now she is the one with the problem on her hands if you know what I mean. I think when people cheat it is because they have issues within themselves and all you can do is go on, she may never change and maybe that is what he wants is someone he knows that he does not have to committe to 100 percent. My advice to you is let him go you do not want to be with someone who does not participate in a 100/100 relationship. You are better off. Good Luck

This guy does not sound to brite. Sounds like all he is looking for is a cheap thrill. In the end all he will end up with is a major head ach.

Because he has connected with someone on his level she doesn't sound like she's about anything and if he is with her he isn't either. Sounds like they were made for each other, two very sick people feeding off of each other! When he trys to come back with his tail tucked I wouldn't take him back.

I ask this question to all of those who are cheated on...why did your partner want to go elsewhere? I never felt the need to stray because my partner gave me everything I wanted/needed and I reciprocated.

Has it ever occur to you that this man just wants the attention, sex, partying kind of 'whore', who will give him anything he wants? A man like this has no respect for himself and for any woman.

We all started out to be fair, trusting and faithful but women trained us to be cheaters, liars, and unfaithful.
Your insecurities, jealousies and accuasations causes us men to not give a f__k. (deal with it)

That person has been blinded by Satan. He can't see the forest for the trees.

He'll figure it out when it's too late. They're slower than us remember. And then you better not take him back!
