All my life, I've found it hard to make 'girl' friends because they just never like me. I try, but they always ***** about me. What can I do-and why do you think it happens??

AMEN!! ME2!!! if your attractive! that is the EXACT reason you cant find many girl frends.
I have ALLLLLL guy frends, guy frends for 5 and 9 years!! i only have one girl frend. and ya know what...one girl frend is enough. and having more guy frends is never a bad thing. as long as you still have that one girl frend to talk to about girl things it'll all work out.
i wouldnt say you need to DO anything unless you want to change yourself...and in that case i would say join cheer, or a sorority (depending on your age).

I was (am) the same way!
I think that it was because I really did not like or wanna be a part of all the "drama' that a lot of girls get into!
I still have more male friends than female friends.
I LOVE men! LOL
I am faithfully and happily married so don't get the wrong idea.
I am low maintenance and I think a lot of girls just can't deal with that. Maybe it is because I can't deal with their high maintenance.
Guys tend to tell ya what they think and move on - girls won't deal with stuff and it becomes more of an issue before it is resolved. I can't stand that!
Yep, guy friends are the best - just enjoy and learn!
Being the friend to the guys can be a bummer though too - people tend to think it is not innocent and if you end up really liking one of em that way, you are just a buddy! Ugh

I am glad to meet the club of girls who hang with guys. I have always been the same way. The past few years since i am now in my early 40s i can hang with some chicks, because they are past the stage of whining and wanting you to walk to the bath room with them. I never liked all the drama and crying the girls dish out. And guys, you can tell them like it is and they will let you have it back and the disagreement is done.... girls will be ticked off for days over something petty. They don't like it if you get more attention from guys then they do either, and God forbid if you talk to their boyfriend when she considers you a better catch. Makes no sense to me, but that is the way girls can be. I will still take my guy friends ANY DAY OF THE WEEK !!!!

Well its natural for girls to be more drawn to guys for friends. But if you want some chick friends just go up to them and start talking to them. Be really nice and helpfull in class and social (talkative) and they will be drawn to you. In my case (im a guy) i have about the same number of girl friends and guy friends but i am closer to the girls. Its just who we are nothing really you cand do about that. Be yourself and people will befriend you. LUCK

i wouldn't worry about it. i'm in 8th grade and have more guy friends than i do girls and i really wouldn't worry about it, guys can be really good friends. just be yourself, and if that doesn't work just think of it as girls can be really bad backstabbers and if yoe say hi to them when they don't want to be said hi to rite then well then they will be mad at you. guys don't get mad at people about that kinda stuff, and when they do get mad it usually over in a couple of days and it doesn't last for ages like it does with girls. Keep your head up lol

Well i can tell u why it happens...its b/c girls are catty betchs...dont worry bout it...unless thats the number one thing on ur list of priorities then join some clubs or something and just chat it up with the ladies

I have always had more guy friends my whole life. Women are cady sallow and *itchy They probably don't like you because you are preetier.men are just more laid back. I love sports and they usually do too.

i'm a girl and i have only 2 friends that r girls n tons of guy friends. u dont really need too many girl friends cos they get jealous

unfortunetly its life, there are people in clicks and people outside of clicks, take it from the peeps that have been there, its best to be on the outside. as for what you can do, just be yourself, and charish the friends you do have.
