i saw mine at 10 weeks and i think that has been the clearest ulrasound i have had so far (i am nearly 36 weeks). I had been sent for the ultrasound as i had been spotting and my Dr thought it was a miscarriage so i cried when i saw the heart beat and the little arms waving about - it is miraculous to see and makes you realise that even at 10 week there is a baby in there.
I love having ultrasounds but i think the next time i see my baby it will be in the flesh.
Congratulations to you - this is my first and i am amazed by the experience.

With this pregnancy at 6 weeks I was spotting blood for 2 weeks,i thought for sure i was going to have a miscarriage...I went to the er and they gave me an ultrasound,my heart almost stopped when i couldnt see the screen,i almost died...then the u/s tech turned the screen to me and said "see your little babys heartbeat" i wanted to break down and cry and thank god,my baby was alive and well, and the little heartbeating was so strong and looked so cute...i was amazed and thankful...this is my third pregnancy but this time around is more intense,my baby is a survivor and im already so in love =*)
Congratulations and Good Luck!!

I was 10 weeks. I saw my babies little heartbeat and it nearly made mine stop because it was so awesome. I cried and nearly laughed. The first doctors appointment they could not hear baby on Doppler so I thought something was wrong and that I might be miscarrying. My hubby was with me and it was the most beautiful thing and he had a grin form ear to ear. The only thing that will be more beautiful is to see it in my arms. Congratulations on your baby.
12 weeks and 5 days pregnant.

The first time I saw the baby I was 11 weeks. It hit me so hard I couldn't stop laughing. I don' think I have ever felt that way in all my life. I've lost a few pregnancys so to me it was amazin to even be that far along. I am now 36 weeks and like 3 days pregnant. Something like that. Yesterday it all hit me and I was like I don't wanna do this I've chnaged my mind we gotta find some other way for this kid to get out. I'm starting to get scared but I know I'll be fine. I know when I see the baby all the pain and fears I had befor will go away.

Yea with my son I heard the heartrate at 9 weeks, which is really early I'm told but it was amazing. Then when I saw the first sonogram I was overwhelmed! It was so great. A feeling like no other. Same thing with my current pregnancy. Everytime I hear the HR I think WOW! I'm due Monday and hoping this baby will come out tonight lol...and I just can't wait. I had five sonograms throughout the pregnancy and well, I can't wait to see the real thing! Best of luck throughout your pregnancy and with your little one!

Never been pregnant but I had an ultrasound on my own heart one time. At one point the doc turned up the sound so I could hear it. I cried hearing that. It sounded like a washing machine. It was bizarre, just reminded me that I was alive. I can't even imagine how much more intense it must be to hear your baby's heart. Congratulations and good luck.

Well I do remember the first time I heard the heartbeat for both of my kids. It is the most unexplainable feeling that you get. It is a feeling of excitement, joy, happiness, love and much more.
I did get a little teary eyed with both of my kids. My daughter is now 6 almost 7 and my baby is 6 months already.
A big congrats to you and your family, Best Wishes to you.

I am now 35 weeks along with baby #2 (a boy), and my daughter is 6 years old...The first ultrasound I saw of my daughter, me and my husband were in awe...he still says she was waving at HIM! :)
With this one, my husband had to work that day, but my daughter got to come & she got the biggest smile when she saw the heartbeat...she said it looked like a peanut shell with a butterfly inside.
I've loved being able to share the experience with her as well as my husband this time. :)
You're absolutely right, we ARE blessed!

I knew it would be a boy cuz the only thing i wouldnt throw up was spicy food, and before getting pregnant i couldnt handle spicy food. The first time i heard the heart beat my own heart skipped a beat
