i can't belive how many people say gerrad yes i agree he's a very good player but give me a choice and i'd take lamp's.

Gerrard, that was pretty easy! lampard is overrated except for the most useless player at the 06 world cup. Did you know that Gerrard has scored in every major finals possible?

because of his complete work rate he is a phenominal player. lampard is good aswell, but not as good as gerrard. gerrard runs the whole field, surging forward and tackling back. lampard shots are the only thing he gets credit for. even then he has a massive shot to goal ratio.
gerard can be extremely versatile, can play on the left, right, wing back (champs league 05) behind a striker (england) and maybe even as a keeper;)
he is a total footballer, with a huge work ethic and team spirit.

I like Lampard but I dont think he could work with most sides. He used to be so good at Chelski but since Ballack came he has declined.
Gerrard is the best Central Midfielder in the world. He is the complete player. He can shoot, pass, cover the defence, make passes over the top, take freekicks, is good in the air, and he plays the game with such intensity and desire.

You must be having laugh. You can't compare Stevie with fat Lampard. Stevie is a class player. Technically, tactically and in terms of leadership. Whereas, Lampard is a selfish one who shoots all the balls that come next to his feet in stead of creating an opportunity for strikers. If you look at some football sources you will realize that part of Sheva's disappointing limited scoring is caused by Lampard's selfishness.
