This Sunday I am a greeter at church because it's youth led services. A few of us that I know of are dressing up, and my friend that I am greeting with said he was going to wear dress pants and a dress shirt.
I NEVER dress up for church. I'm always in jeans, a band t-shirt and Converse. The outfit I chose is a just-below-the knee length, black skirt, pantyhose, a white dress shirt, black kitten heels with a small bow and I'm trying to find the right cami to go under it. Is this too dressy? Do you think it will look nice?
I'm 16, 5'8" and about 150lbs.

Brittany, trust me Sweetheart it looks great. When I'm an Usher or a Greeter I wear all that but I'm not 16 nor 150 pounds. Just make sure you wear a white blouse it looks much better and it seems to look great on everyone.

that sounds like a puritan outfit. wear a flowery skirt with the white dress shirt.

I'm not a fan of pantyhose. They're too much like what old ladies wear. I'd suggest black patterned tights or no hose at all. These are adorable: http://teddygirl.com/tights-striped.html

Real Cute I lIke it and I agree a whitee cami will look good and you just have to make sure the weather is nice because that can alwayz ruin pplz look- and do something nice to your hair- unless you already had something planned i mean

Go with a causal white cami. I think your outfit is cute and completely approatiate for church.

It might be too dressy You might want to consider wearing pinstripe black slacks. This will tone down the sophisticated first-lady look.

Even though it's a little dressy it does sound cute. You should def. wear it but if you dont feel 100% comfortable in it then wear something else.

i think that will look nice but put the bow on your hair then you will look like you are going to church and still look good

I used to go to church alot when I was a teenager and that sounds totally approriate to me.Go for it!!!
