Let glucose be called G. Let the solution be called soln. Let calories be called cal.

1000mLsoln x 5gG/100mLsoln x ncal/gG = (1000)(5)(n)/(100) = Answer

You have to know next how many calories of glucose per gram of glucose. You are missing this information.

If there's 5g in 100ml, then there's 50g in 1000ml.

Now, how many calories in a gram of glucose?
Shame on you for not giving us that.

Using Wikipedia, I got a value of 4,000 calories per gram.
That would give- 200,000 calories

If you have a different value for calories per gram, don't forget to update the wiki page !
