What do you think of the knickname Lex for a boy?

I really like that name...but I have always loved the name Alexander, Lex for short

Reminds me of Lex Luthor from Superman. Not known for being a nice guy, and names do have reputations.

I don't like it. Sorry. I think of Lex Luther, the evil guy from Superman, either than or the word letch, or lecherous, all of which have negative connotations.

For Alexander, if you don't like Alex I really like Xan, pronounced Zan.

It isn't my favorite but it isn't terrible. SD
