The reason is because the standard of living and quality of life in America (even in poorer areas) are much higher than in India. The majority of individuals in India are completely destitute - there isn't adequate services or basic needs being met, not even adequate sewage system.

Its because they tend to forget the fact that there is life beyond job and money.They fail to notice the smaller but happier moments of life.They fail to cherish the rich tradition and culture.From what I have learnt during my visits,India is DEFINITELY NOT the kinda country of open dustbins and polluted enirons alone.Its a country of warm people,more intelligent than most of the others yet very much simpler and more bonded with family and friends which is why I feel they are even more intelligent.

I deal with many Indian consultants who are brought into this country on L1 visas. When their contracts are not renewed, most of them don't want to go back. If the natives don't want live there, why would anyone else?
