Is forced Democracy Democratic?

If the majority of Iraqi's are against us then we are not giving them a choice.
I was taught that the seed of democracy was freedom to choose.
Are we telling the Iraqi people that we're taking away their old choices and making them conform to our way of thinking?
What does that that make us?

You cannot force Democracy.

no its totalitarian we will take absolute control of those people under the pretense of democracy i guess that makes us dictators
