I read the ingredience on a package of hot dogs and it said " may contain pork. may contain beef, may contain chicken" what's up with that don't they know what's in there own product.?

it's because it's reprocessed food, pretty much the scraps of what doesn't go into main food is what makes up hot dogs, yummy huh?

Yeah, I would like to be able to say that knowledge would keep me from eating them... However, I think that if you read the package before you buy them some will say All Beef, or Turkey and then you can at least know what kind of animal you're eating...

Dont you know what's in those things? It's everything that is not used for selling individually. All the guts, the butthole, snout, everything imaginable that would be used as waste, is ground up and used for hot dogs. Honest! I dont like em cause I'll burp two days after eating one and I can still taste it. Gross!

one company for instance oscar mayer makes plain pork hot dogs or plain beef or plain chicken or a mixture of all three. its mainly for allergy purposes that they list that it may contain one or the other.

stay away from processed meat.

The use whatever meat they can get cheapest that day and they aren't going to make a new package every time they change the reciepe.
