Why does my computer make a "hehe" noise randomly?

I am working on my computer and every once in a while it makes a "hehe" noise on its own. I'm afraid its a worm or spyware. Does anyone know what this is? And how I can protect against it? Thanks.

I agree, it sounds like an indication of a virus. If you would like a free virus program, try avg free edition from free.grisoft.com. Also, there is a free online scan utility from trend micro: housecall.trendmicro.com.

run a virus scan....i you need good antivirus software, download avast: http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html
