how do i casually ask my guy friend if he has a girlfriend without making the conversation awkward?

Well, you could just say something like "I know a girl who likes you.. but she was wondering if you have a girlfriend.." and if he says no, or who is it? then say "Well, that girl is me" .. and then tell him all your feelings.. if u do like him, then maybe he likes you back because he is your friend. I told my guy friend my feelings and he felt the same way, and being friends, we knew alot about each other.. and we are still going out.. 5 months.. and things are gettin better. and we hav had no problems what so ever.. It works out =]
