Drink water ASAP, I just had a stabbing pain in my side, went to the doctor and found out I have a kidney stone from all the soda I drink and how little water I have. The water flushes out bad stuff, and soda just builds it up. I hope you dont get a kidney stone cause you have to urinate it out through your private area, Ouch!

I agree, I HATE plain water by its self with a passion! Doesn't matter what water system I drink from, it all just taste yucky to me!!!!! I have ALWAYS been that way! The ONLY time I drink plain water is when I am working out in the 100+ degree Texas summers outside! Otherwise its mostly soda, but will drink tea, and juice on occasion!

Soda has a lot of sugar, and obviously water does not. Diet sodas have artificial sweeteners, and too many of these will not be good for you. Also - many sodas contain caffeine. Too much of that is also no good. I know a personal friend who has been addicted to cola drinks for years - he is in his 50s. He has had many health problems due to this. He drinks much soda, he "feels full," and then he does not get the vitamins and minerals that come from regular food!!

It isn't healthy.

1)soda has dissolved carbon dioxide in it which can cause dehydration and also creates carbonic acid which eats the enamel off of your teeth.

2)caffeine also dehydrates you

3)the corn syrup they use or the artificial sweetner isn't really good for you

So, maybe you need to work on drinking water. Start with 1 glass a day. Remember a glass is 1 cup of water. 8 oz. 2/3 of one can of soda. Think it of it as acquiring a taste for it. Eventually, you'll wonder how you did without.

It would be fine if you drank a lot of milk and juices that were healthy instead of just plain water, and ate watery foods such as water melons or cucumbers, but replacing your water intake with lots of soda is an extremely unhealthy thing to do! That's like saying, "Oh, I don't like eating fruit, so I just suck on fruit flavored popsicles and hard candy all day instead!" Soda is extremely bad for you. One can a day is awful for your teeth, your weight, and a whole lot of other things! More than one can a day... That's just really really bad for you! More water/juice/milk/whatever you want to put here, LESS SODA!

If you don't like to drink water, prepare to die. Water cleanses out the system and it stops toxin build-up in all of the vital organs. Soda has a lot of acid, sugars, and color in it. Next time you buy a soft drink look at the color, now picture all of that stuff in soda inside your kidneys,liver..So prepare to get kidney stones, they're very painful trust me I know. And less water intake usually results in kidney failure, kidney failure results in death......Your choice.
