The Fibonacci seqence is a series of numbers...each of which is the sum of the two before it.....so you start off.... 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 .....and so forth. It is found in nature in the arrangement of some petals in flowers....in the construction of some seashells...etc. etc. Fibbonacci was a mathematician who discovered this phenomenon in numbers....so it was named after him.

Fibonacci is some Italian dude (I think), and the pattern goes like this:

1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21...

It's 1+1=2, 1+2=3, 2+3=5, and so on.
