Hello, I have a Westell VersaLink Model 327W15 - 06 Modem. I need to reset the password and username so that I can change some settings because its security settings are blocking some of the applications I use from accessing the internet. Please, I completely forgot what I changed the username and password to. The access gateway is 192.168.1.1 if that helps at all. Thanks so much for all f your help, Brodster

oh i had that. verizon is the worst company ever
use a paper clip or pencil to push the reset button on the back of your dsl modem
wait till lights all go off and on again( sort of, cant really remember maybe become red or start blinking) then release
and then you will be prompt to enter new one
btw, i have FIOS now, pretty fast, but terrible customer support

Your doing it right. Chances are you don't have the right default password and user name. I had something similar and the Tech guys I called said the default IP was one thing, and it was actually another.
