A guy from England flies over to New York. He checks into his hotel and then decides to go for a short walkabout in the Big Apple. Anyways the guy gets lost and ends up sleeping rough for five days. Apparently the guy was 'too meek' to ask for directions and ended up in hospital with hypothermia. Is this story for real?

If it involves a male and asking for directions then it most definitely has to be!!!! LOL
Had a good search and found nothing.....perhaps you can ring your radio station and ask them?

Yeah. But I think the guy was from some other country. He didn't ask for help for fear of being deported even though he had a green card. He slept in a car and finally the guy collapsed and some lady helped him by giving him food and water! I read it on aol.com or msn.com. Not sure which one!

The only story I found was about a guy in Dallas who went for a walk and lost his memory and wound up on the streets for a few weeks.

Who knows but it does fit in with the generally idea that the male will not ask for directions and hopefully a female will be nursing him back to health.

I heard about some professor or something who nearly got shot dead for j- walking. I saw the picture and he was surrounded by about 9 cops. Land of the free, eh!
