i play reciever right now and im thinking of changing positions for next season

you have to have a quick reaction to the ball and the intensity to make big hits when a rb is running free to the hole. Compared to WR you will have to strength train more - especially your legs, which will inevetibly slow you down.

The ideal LB to model yourself after would be Derrick Brooks - from the Bucs.

A linebacker is a defensive player who is stationed behind the line, and who defends against both the run and the pass. Linebackers always must be good tacklers.

You just have to be BIG

Iplayed mlb,and it helps if you can run hard and fast,have great strength,and great vison for the ball and the RB-but remember one thing this is a contact sport so get ready to get hit....have fun..

You have to be aln=most as strong as a lineman and as fast as a running back. You have to love contact.
