I think he has a really bad influence on America. Now everyone thinks that if they harangue long and loud enough then that makes them right. No one understands the difference between fact and opinion anymore and I blame him....

The reason he's on the air is 23 Million listeners. The Limbaugh show generates GIGANTIC ad revenue. He appeals to conservative leaning listeners with a demographic profile of large disposable income (meaning money to spend after rent,utilities,food,car payments,etc). Maybe it doesn't sit well with some but money talks. Air America (a left leaning operation) simply couldn't garner the same ad revenue. Most radio execs have to deliver on the bottom line.

I know you people are still upset that Air America was such a dismal failure, and I can read between the lines from your posts that you would love to take him off the air. Dont deny that. You and your responders use Liberal propaganda in an effort to discredit folks that listen to his program as not nearly as bright as you elitists because his message is directly contrary to the Lib gloom and doom. You people are as big a threat to our national security as the terrorists you love so much.
Limbaugh stays on because in spite of your ridiculous egos telling you that no one should listen to him, way more people listen to conservative radio than they ever will to the Lib tripe.
Most folks are sick of the Liberal lies and negativity....

Rush is a fat, lazy, pill popping neo-con who stays on the air because other fat lazy neo-cons need his rants and raves to justify their culture and low self esteem. He spews his poison over the airways in a fashion reminiscent of the Nazi propaganda machines. I feel so sorry for his fans.

Peer pressure, family, friends, and coworkers play into it. Also, unfortunately there are quite a few people too lazy to read or at least check into the facts of what they hear. Salesmen love these folks.

Because there is a huge population that do not use their brain..they react with out getting the facts first.....and they will believe most anything if it sounds convincing.....more proof is look what we have as president..
