In America the word dowry may as well be thee and thou. It is that old to us. People get married without dowry today. All marriages are arranged just some by parents and some by the hearts of the man and woman coming together. Neither are better if they are both devoid of mutual love and acceptance. Both are wonderful if filled with love and acceptance.

They say "Marry in haste and repent in leisure.". In my opinion love marriage is good and arranged marriage is better. Dowry is extremely painful matter for the girl's family and so it must be abolished completely in our country.

It's right when both people are mature enough to accept their vows they have made to each other and to be committed only to each other and to not use divorce as the only way out to problems. Arranged marriages are retarded, I don't care how many people I piss off with this, but I've never heard of something so silly.

for hot passionate sex - usually earlier marriage for the overall relationship my vote is for later marriage. Reason is that you both grow closer and begin to feel comfortable with each other - the bond grows stronger between you. You become true best friends and the intimacy also increases. All of this depends on the people though - it takes two to make it work.

I think the age differs for each person. I have found that if you wait until you are mature, done sewing your wild oats, know who you are, and really want that married life than that should be when you get married. Alot of people are young, get married for the wrong reasons and end up regretting it. So it just depends on you.

both. marry young, experience it, see what a dufus you are, then divorce. marry later on, after you've grown up, and see how much better things are after 35.
