Scientific evidence would suggest that with the technology we had back in the sixties we could not have landed on the moon. There is actually a documentary that analized the footage from the landing and found that the shadows from the flag, the astronauts and the moon rover do not coincide with where they should be in accordance with the position of the sun. Many scientists claim that the gamma radiation that exists in that portion of space would have been so strong that it would have taken lead walls 3ft thick to keep the astronauts safe yet the moon landers walls are about as thick as tinfoil.
Maybe this is all just a big conspiracy theory, or maybe its not. I would think that one succesful moon landing would have led to another. How long has it been? 39 years, something seems amiss.

Yes, Neil Armstrong landed there in 1969. No nation has been back because it is too expensive and too complicated. Even the US lost the plans to build another Saturn 5 "moon rocket" so we have to begin anew.

Of course. The claims the conspiracy theorists make have been debunked a million times.
It strikes me that keeping a conspiracy like that quiet would be far more difficult than actually landing on the moon.
A far more fun conspiracy is that NASA actually found alien buildings and artifacts on the moon and then had to alter or stage the photos to cover it up.

we raced the soviets into outerspace and the moon, we were concerned about the space program and how far they would go so we took a stab at it and got their first, i dont understand the nation back part because they did make it back to earth, or it doesn't serve good economically to rule a rock with nothing on it.

Nope! Totally studio filmed. When you exit the outer-atmosphere, you're completely exposed to all sorts of radiation and microwaves and such that it makes it impossible for any biological being to be out there and not get fried.
Please bear in mind that the Mir Space Station is still within the f the Earth's atmosphere (thermosphere to be exact). This offers enough protection from solar radiation to allow biological beings to remain alive.

Americans did, and Russia did.. they said there was nothing for their interest upthere, so they stopped going to the moon. Now you see, they found a reason.... it will be a base for going to mars.
