drum question?

Question

does anyone know of a website that has like free drum lessons.where you can basically learn from the website? my drum set includes the bass, hi-hat, floor tom, high tom, snare, and crash. all the websites i find are lessons for drums that are different than mine. someone help please.

Well, it doesn't really matter - for starters, you can use your crash as a ride, only one tom, and so on, the point is to learn how to hit the drum correctly, separate arms and legs, how to play "from the wrists" and various techniques, it doesn't matter what tom you hit. Buy some books from musiciansfriend.com, something authored by good drummers (Dave Weckl is awesome, and some people praise Neil Peart, but I think he's so-so on his best day), then you'll know the stuff you read is right, not just some garbage someone posted on the web that may be very wrong.

hey acually i would recomend buying a book that teaches u about the notes because if u no the notes then its easy from there because u can go to tab websites and learn some stuff and books always have starters most used beats and stuff...acually on youtube once i saw some prety good drum lessons and drum tips and this guy always posts about drums and he tells u how to tune them i found out about that when once i was really bored looking if he really does now how to :P anyways too much info good luck :)
