A lot of the time kids want to look and act older then they actually are and believe by becoming sexually active this shows the world they are all grown up. Others at times may believe that they need to do this in order for their partner to think more of them and/or love them. But sad fact is that many do not think of how some of these life choices that they are making today may come back on them when they are a little older. I use as an example the girls on "Girls Gone Wild". Imagine if some of these girls ever wanted to have a professional career when they are old enough. These images can and very well probably will come back on these young ladies to try and ruin their chosen careers by somebody who has a copy. The same with kids baring all on the internet to total strangers, a real dangerous as well as unwise thing to do. Not all kids are pressured into sex however and we never hear about these kids just the ones who have either gotten a bad name for themselves or the ones who flaunt it to the world.

Because they are insecure about their own attractiveness, are not confident about what their minds tell them, because they feel they need to prove they are not babies anymore. It's the same reasons someone starts smoking or taking drugs or any of those peer pressure acts. Because they are under the misconception that if they don't put out, they won't be popular. Because they think that if they don't give in, their boyfriend/girlfriend will leave them. It's very confusing to be a young person.

It's because they don't have enough self esteem to tell there friends no. They want to fit in and belong. And it's tough being a teen as it is..so if it makes the accpetable to there peers they with do just about anything to fit in.

because everyone knows sex is fun and that's how youth see it(myself being 16). plus, teenagers have raging hormones and can't really control themselves. they wanna experience what it's made out to be and they don't think ahead of time and what the consequences could be. i myself am proud to say im holding off until marriage. or at least trying to:P
