mark has been divorced for over 5yrs but by the way his ex acts u would never know it.she is always trying to get info(always in a sneaky way) about us from my inlaws.for example we told marks 9yr old son we are "thinking" about having a baby.well he must have told his mom as she "ran" over to my inlaws to ask "if they knew about our new baby" but never asked us about it and she sees us all the time.if she is not trying to get info about us then she is bad mouthing us to anyone that will listen.the only "bad" thing mark ever did was divorce her and it was not for me.she just treated him like crap till he could not take it any more and left but left her everything house,car.money.the only reason we put up with it is because of thier son they share we don't want to put him in the middle.is this normal that she is so consumed/bitter with our life still after 5yrs?it started to ware on my nurves how can i deal with this?

Was your now husband cheating on his wife with you?If that is the case then you get ever thing you deserve. But if that's not the case you meet this man after he left or divorce his wife. Again you knew he had a crazy ex wife. In you still choose to marry him.You knew he had a kid with his ex. You need to realize this is what YOU married. I guess your going to have to put up with it until the child is old of enough. You can't complain now. It's to late for that. Your not going to change her and your husband not. So I guess you have to live with it. It was YOUR choice bade

Things in her life probably aren't going right and she has extreme jealousy that still lingers. It seems like she needs a therapist. She's not letting go and this can put a strain on you and marks relationship.

Seems like "the ex" is jealous about your relationship with her ex-husband, and she still has feelings for her ex-husband. I think the reason why she wants to know so much about your current situation is because she probably doesn't want you to have a successful relationship. I don't think this is normal behavior. She sounds OBSESSIVE!!!! Just be careful. : )

Sorry to have to break it to you, but when you agreed to marry him, you agreed to put up with his ex as well. His "baggage" is now your baggage, and you have to learn to deal.
Talk to your husband about it, let him know how much it bothers you, and see if he can come up with any solutions -- when you boil it down, it's his war to fight, not yours, but he should know how you feel about it, too. Good luck

unfortunatly she will be in your life because they have a child together, she hates u, wants him back, she is jelous of u, and this will continue until u just stop responding to what she is doing. just ignore her if at all possibble.

Sounds like she needs to move on, because she refuses to comprehend that he isn't coming back to her. All I can tell you is to not tell your business to his/her son because she probably has him spying on y'all anyways. Don't get angry with him, he's just a child trying to please a vengeful mom. She's not happy & she doesn't want y'all to be happy either!!!

if you love your husbands son like a stepmother should,then that is all that matters.as for his ex just ignore her and she will leave you alone.
