The Ring, it creeps me out because it is psychological horror. The loudest I've probably screamed during a horror film was when I was 10 and I saw The Woman In Black, I literally jumped three feet in the air, spilling my drink everywhere. I saw it recently though and it wasn't half so scary!!!!

the original version of The Ring. it's a Japanese film, so it's got subtitles, but it's totally worth watching it (if u can !!!) i found it by accident a few years ago - i was having trouble sleeping & it was the only thing on TV that was worth watching at 2am. i watched the whole film from behind a pillow, and had to sleep with the light on that night ! the hollywood version is good, but not as creepy as the original.

In 1983 or 1984 when I saw "Evil Dead" I wouldn't go down to my basement alone for a month. Special effects were awful but story line scared me. Never saw the remake either.
