i have a dell inspiron 1501 1GB of RAM, an ATI Radeon express 1150 video card, i have a AMD mobile Sempron processor,60GB of Hardrive just wondering if u can give me any website that will provide updates for my laptop

Well, the Dell support site should certainly have all the latest drivers for your hardware.
Or you could use Windows Update, which will supply you with the latest qualified drivers. But be sure to use the "custom" install option, as only the critical security updates are included with the "express" option.

Dell has a tech support page. You have to use your service tag and the configuration for that model comes up and you can choose which drivers to update.

Microsoft itself gives updates to 3rd party hardware. For example with all my Wnidows updates it also updated my ESS Allegro Sound Driver for my Allegro Sound card and JBL Platinum Speakers.
