Well spicy food doesn't seem exotic to me, I love it hot. I haven't eaten any fried bugs, but I have tried both frogs legs and snails while in France. I found the snails horribly chewy - the frog legs were okay, but rather bland.
I will try most things, but I don't fancy dog or long pig, thanks very much. I wouldn't eat veal either, as the poor creatures are kept in inhumane conditions in many circumstances.

I never liked really hot spicy food until I was diagnosed with diabetes...and then because I add a lot of spices just to give my food variety without messing up my carb/sugar intake, I started using a whole lot of really hot spices. I do eat salsas and chili and other things using ghost peppers--the hotness makes me limit how much I eat. But I don't always want really hot spicy food so I sometimes make my food not using any hotness at all. Just depends on how I'm feeling. I'm glad I have the option though.

Lamb eyes, baluts, monkey, moose liver, duck & geese & quail eggs, dog, snake (rattler and a type unknown to me), a rodent (probably a rat), rice bugs, kimshy, cactus worms and others. I am not really an animal grazing, I just am not afraid of new foods. If a culture considers it a delacy, I am more than willing to try it.

Green tea icecream is as far as I've gotten. Someone I know tried chocolate covered ants and said they were pretty good as well as rose petal icecream.
