political correctness, as it has gone beyond what the original intent was.
Bad judges (sentencing child molesters to PROBATION!!??)
Erosion of our freedoms, little by little.

Sorry, I can't narrow it down to just one...
Illegal immigration - If we don't control the borders, how are we supposed to keep terrorists out?
Political Correctness - Stop worrying about pissing off the whiners, and do what's right... use common sense.
Government Spending - It's completely out of control all over the place. Start cutting... and I mean cutting everything. Do the elected officials REALLY need another pay raise? Do we have to increase welfare spending AGAIN this year? A bill for a new highway in Idaho should be just that - nothing else included like $400k for potato research.
Biggest problem I see is that the majority of those that whine and complain have no right to... BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T VOTE. If we want to change this country, we have to be active.

Our biggest problem is the disparity between rich and poor and its relationship to division among races. There are some safety nets for the very poorest in our country but the working poor, which are disproportionally minorities, are paying for our lifestyles. they are taxed more than the wealthy, they go to jail much more, there education is terrible, and there access to health care, particularly prevention is abysmal. There are hundreds of thousands of working poor who have to choose whether to feed their families or spend time with their children. Even the war in Iraq is an example of this disparity. What are the annual incomes of the people serving our country? How much do their parents earn? If the children of executive, legislative and judicial branches of our government contribute less than 5 soldiers to the war you start to see what I mean. The decision makers, all wealthy and most white, choose the fate of the poor and people of color. This is America's greatest challenge.

The biggest problem facing America is a lack of education among its citizens. Especially when tools like spell check exist and nobody uses it!
Seriously education is our biggest problem. Everyone is an expert on everything and yet most couldn't name the 3 branches of government or who the Vice President is for example. Liberals are most guilty of this! Sad.

The USA has responded with aid and help in many disasters, crisis situations, injustices, etc. around the world and the world still hates the USA.
We should let the rest of the world take the lead in all these situations and see what happens.

Our govt. is a quagmire. We vote for a law and some judge calls it unconstitutional and it's overturned. We legalize medicinal marijuana but people keep getting arrested for it. The courts are clogged with cases of people suing because they smoked too many cigarettes or ate too much. We arrest border patrol agents for shooting drug smugglers. We imprison US soldiers for killing when that's what we train them to do.
Our biggest problem is ourselves

I think our biggest problem is the liberals we have saying that the war is a problem. If we didn't have liberals spending all their time spouting off instead of doing something productive, we would have a much better country...

a free thinking informed voting public.
most people refuse to do any thinking, they believe and adhere to the rhetoric of the spin doctors that are attempting to sway your vote. if the american people want reform, real reform
1. don't ever vote 'party'
2. research the candadates
3. think for yourself
4. VOTE, get off your lazy butt and VOTE
that is what scares politicians, informed, independent, free thinking voter turnout,

The great divide that the liberals have worked so hard to get. Never in the history of this great nation have we been so divided on so many issues.
