Ok so i have a Wii and i had it turned off last night but this morning the blue light around the disk drive was on and it woke me up...is it supposed to do that? the blue light isnt on now...im sure it was turned off. also it was like pulsating brighter and dimmer. i would like to know how to make that not happen because it was slightly annoying.

Lol what dandan mentioned. it may be smarter to attend by way of fact every time people crowd up strains for a product that's approximately $3 hundred-$seven hundred they finally end up looking out that contained in here few months the fee will save taking place and could be basically a million/2. and that's how companies make money off of those issues. hundreds of individuals purchase it for the high priced fee, and the clever people purchase it while they decrease it in a million/2. As for memory Card, the Wii has an inner difficult disk which you would be able to save some video games on (no longer just about sufficient as my 80-gig PS3 yet i'm no longer likely to gloat lol). you haven't any longer close it off good. seek for advice from the consumer instruction manual. Then call Nintendo if it does not help.

I'm not at my Wii right now but I believe there is and option in the setup menu regarding the light. You can shut it off or set it to different brightnesses. I have noticed several times that mine did that too. I shut it off and have never seen the light again. Don't know if that helps but it might.

Added: OK I am at home and I did verify that it is in fact a message waiting. You can adjust the brightness of said blue light in the Wii options / settings / page2 / WiiConnect24 / slot illumination. options are Bright Dim and Off. Turning it off will eliminate this issue completely.

That usually means that there is an update. Most likely today it will be the wii news channel. Try to update and you will get a free news channel.
