Yes because I am the eternal optomist and always think things will change. Sometimes there comes a time though when I have to let go for my own sanity. Hence I am divorced.

Yes. Especially guys.
I have the aching urge to have a boyfriend...so even when a guy treats me like crap....I continue to hold onto him. Eventually I move on, but never completely. It's sad really.
Along with the memories of my dad. My mom and him got divorced when I was about 7, and he died when I was about 11. The memories hurt because I know I'll never see him again, but I continue to hold onto them. Even though I hardly ever saw him anymore because of the divorce.
I'm sure there are many other things I could mention for this question, but unfortunately....I can't think of any more at the moment. lol
I guess some things are just too important to us to let go of them. Either that or they have made too much of an impression on our lives for us to forget or pretend they never happened.

No but they are some people that have passed away and I hold on to the memory of them and it hurts. Other then that I don't. I let go. Life is short.

I try not to. I think people are lying if they say they never do.
It is human nature to hang onto pain. It requires conscious choice not to.
