Actually Afghanistan is where they should send troops. The Taliban and Bin Laden are there. They are the ones responsible for 9/11. That is where our troops should have gone in the first place.

You are complete idiot. I promise you if our leaders thought like you, we would be attacked within a week.

According to Irving Kristol, the founder and "god-father" of Neoconservatism, there are three basic pillars of Neoconservatism:

1. Economics: Cutting tax rates in order to stimulate steady, wide-spread economic growth and acceptance of the necessity of the risks inherent in that growth, such as budget deficits, as well as the potential benefits, such as budget surpluses.
2. Domestic Affairs: Preferring strong government but not intrusive government, slight acceptance of the welfare state, adherence to social conservatism, and disapproval of counterculture
3. Foreign Policy: Patriotism is a necessity, world government is a terrible idea, the ability to distinguish friend from foe, protecting national interest both at home and abroad, and the necessity of a strong military.

The Taliban are making a come back very strong because there aren't enough troops there to secure the people and help build the country. It's deja vu all over again.

Circus? Is that something you thought up with your buds at the starbucks?

You need to ask a real question, not make some political point. Nobody inside the white house cares what you think and frankly nobody here cares. I responded because your another liberal nut making a stupid point. Why not worry about living your life and let the people in the know run things over at the pentagon.

Bush does not care about the soldiers who die or their families. No one in his family is on the front line or will ever be.

His reasons for waging war on Iraq have absolutely nothing to do with benefiting the American military or the American public.

The soldiers who died in Iraq should have gone to fight the Afghans who we know were responsible for 9/11

Your signature says it all, but since I believe in beating my head against the wall, I will try to educate the ignorant. First, Saddam used WMD's against the Kurds and the Iranians. He did have WMD's. They are probably in Syria or destroyed. More troops may be necessary to hold Afganistan and prevent a return to Taliban control. It's a good thing people with your intellect weren't in control during WWII or we would be speaking German.
