Will Dave Salmoni on "Into the Loion's Den" end up like Timothy Treadwell? Is this guy crazy or what? It's a big enough risk working with trained lions but this guy is getting within inches of lions in the wild. Does he have a death wish?

Dave Salmoni (born 1975 in Sarnia, Ontario) is a Canadian animal trainer and zoologist.

He graduated in biology from Laurentian University in Sudbury and was an apprentice animal trainer at Bowman Zoological Park. Salmoni left Canada for South Africa in 2000 to help captive animals learn the skills they needed to be released into the wild.

He has made several TV documentaries, including Living with Tigers which describes the progress he and John Varty made as part of the African Tiger Project, and Into The Lion's Den (2005) for Discovery Channel Animal Planet.
