I'm curious to see the responses you get.
Why Saturday? I think it is fine just the way it is. On the other hand I am sure it would be easier on employers. Not so many people partying on a night before the start of the work week.

Maybe.
But the day after the Super Bowl should be a national holiday if it's a Monday.
The NFL could fix this by bumping up the schedule so that Super Bowl Sunday is the day before MLK Day, or they could hold out for whatever holiday 2/19 is.
Or they could do Saturday. I'm not difficult to please, but I don't want to party through all the pre-game and the game, then go to work the next day. Having a day off after the Super Bowl would be good for the economy.

Absurd. PRO football is played on Sundays - P E R I O D.
Well, and on Mondays. And Thursdays. And Saturdays during playoff season when college football is finished.
But not Wednesday. The Super Bowl should NOT be on Wednesday. What was your question again?

I was going to ask this question, but I did a search & found this one. A Saturday Super Bowl would be easier, more fun & festive, with kids & the 8 to 5'ers having the next day off. I say go for it, let's have it on Saturday!

Why? Pro football is a Sunday game (most of the time). It's not like the Super Bowl needs more ratings. That was just a stupid question to fill airtime and make people vote on the news station's website and give the site more traffic to up their ad rates.

A resounding no, no, no, and today only a bonus no. Nobody messes with the Super Bowl, it is a Sunday game, Saturday is for prep time, and whiny college football games, not the most important game and day of the year. Super Sunday, brings chills down your spine doesn't it?

In my opinion, it should be played on a Saturday. But, because Sundays is a day that most families are together, they play the game on Sunday & give some people to talk about it around the water cooler on Monday.

my gut instinct would tell me no, but I'd almost say yes since football is what I look forward to most durring the week ---all week long thinking "is it sunday yet? is it sunday yet? I can't wait till sunday!" but then after the games are over--POOF! it's monday again and I've got the whole week ahead of me
side-note: anyone know why the pro-bowl is on a SAT this year?
