They'd be great for getting around campus. I'd never be late for class.
However, those kids who roll around on them on, for example, the second floor of a mall with a big open space in the middle and a nice drop to the lower level make me nervous. Someone's going to go over a railing and people will think I'm evil when I laugh at them.

nicely if I have been youthful and searching for my 1st motor vehicle, it would not be any of that high priced stuff. high priced meaning fee of possession which contains top type gasoline, intense maintenance, and intense insurance. i might attempt to be lifelike approximately how lots i might "sell off" into my 1st motor vehicle. the final element i might prefer on an identical time as attempting to kick commence my profession became sinking all my surplus money right into a motor vehicle. that is like throwing money into the wind. top now a 2-3 y/o Mazda 3, Ford concentration, Toyota Corolla, Honda extra wholesome, or Nissan Sentra might benefit many people as first automobiles. lifelike and sturdy. Plus they do no longer draw interest so law enforcement officers won't %. alongside side you.

They don't bother me as long as the child is wearing them outside. I can't stand it when the kids wear them in the mall, grocery store, and restaurants. There is a time and place for everything, and the only time and place for those shoes are outside the child's home or neighborhood.

They look amazingly fun and I wish I was young enough to get them even though I would have a lot of trouble larning how to use them because i'm dyspraxic.
They're dangerous though, only the othr week some kid from my school broke her arm because of them.

They are idiotic. Everywhere you go there is some kid zipping along in them. Basically it shows that the parents are low rent and don't care if their kid learns manners. It's kind of like people who have thier kids walking around with Ipods and PSPs. Instead of the kid learning how to act in society they get something to amuse them. Bottom line...... sloppy parenting.

They are called "Heelys" ("Heely" is singular).
While I was living in Korea, a girl wore them at a public school (not one I worked at); the story was on the news.
Walking downstairs, her foot rolled from underneath her and she hit the back of her head on the stair. She died.

They shouldn't be worn in crowded public areas, children have little impulse control and someone could get hurt. The manufacturer says wearers should have on a helmet and other protective gear.

They are dangerous and can cause a bad fall. Just someone's attempt at the almighty dollar at the expense of the consumer's injuries!
