For science we can bring in food for extra credit to put into a vaccum chamber. Does anyone have any idea of what would look really cool in it?

For those of you that dont want to do other peoples homework you can help me. You get the same amount of extra credit points no matter what you bring in. I just want to bring something awesome in

Maybe a big marshmello. They have a lot of air and are soft and pliable.

An egg might be cool or it might withstand a lot of pressure. Big mess potential.

bread, marshmallows, a milky way candy bar. Anything that has air trapped in it. It'll expand. You might try non food items too, like foam earplugs or styrafoam, or a ziplock baggie full of air.

A cup of water should WOW everyone though. The water should boil, then freeze because of the vacuum.

I'm guessing a cucumber. I believe the lack of pressure would change water to close to boiling state... maybe a tomato =)

Get some marshmallow "peeps" like you see at Easter time. They have a harder outer layer than regular marshmallows and look great when they crack the outer layer.

Eggs. They will explode wonderfully. Potatoes probably will too. Link sausage should be pretty gross.
