It probably won't work well, and it isn't a venue for connecting with people like that. It is a venue for asking a question like you did for this question and getting answers. If you want something to find bandmates, find local musician sites, or use something like craiglist that is in your area.

I agree with the 2nd fellow...Craigslist for your area is the way to go. Also, check with music shops in your area.

its possible, you might find someone, but a better source would be myspace, you can see their pictures and where theyre from, what they listen to and all that

You would probably have better luck with either MySpace, Xanga and/or CraigsList.
