Both of them are hard decisions for me too. Where would he like to go?

Well from my own experience, Olive Garden is crap in San Diego. I have yet to go to Red Lobster so I would choose the latter. Seafood is always classy to eat on a dinner date so that is definitely an idea.

What does your fiance prefer? Italian or Seafood? That should be your determining factor.
Olive Garden is a bit more laid back and relaxing. If you're going to propose that night then, I would go with Olive Garden. A nice glass of wine, breadsticks, a little stuffed mushroom, who could say no.
Good luck!

Take her to Red Lobster but go early because everyone else will be there. And you may want to confirm with the restaurant that the coupon is valid.

1st of all...those gift cards are all pretty much scams to waste your time so if you have it in your hand...congrats. Without the gift card, I'd go based on what you can afford just in case you don't have the gift card to rely on. Red Lobster is a lot of fish so if your date doesn't like fish you may be in trouble. I'd stick with Olive Garden--plenty of Italian dishes to choose from.

That's a tough one. I'd personally pick the Olive Garden. Don't get me wrong, I love seafood. But it's usually frozen. Go for the seafood at Olive Garden.

Dude....unless you're under 18 don't take a date to Olive Garden or Red Lobster for valentines day. Go to a place that is decent and romantic. It is absolutely inappropriate to eat at a place like this for valentines day. If you can;t afford to eat at a higher caliber restaurant I'd reccomend cooking a fancier dinner yourself. That is preferable then taking someone to a corporate schlock restuarant on a holiday.

You mentioned your soon to be fiance. I am assuming you are the man. I don't want to be rude, but it would look kind of cheap to use a coupon to pay for Valentine's dinner. My experience with the freebies is that they are not free. If you are on a budget. It would be charming for you to make a delicious spaghetti dinner at home for her. If your free coupon is real you can use it on another night. ...just a thought from a woman's perspective.

They are both great. Olive garden might have a better atmosphere. It depends, do you want crap legs, if so go to Red Lobster. If that isn't what your going to order, then go to Olive garden & they have some seafood dishes.
